Thoughtful design.
Real building perspective.

Hi, I’m Matt.

I want a home to work for the people who live in it. That means understanding the everyday details, considering the property, and keeping construction decisions in view as the design develops.

My background in construction and previous work as a home inspector informs that approach. I care about how assemblies connect, how a home will be maintained, and whether added complexity serves a useful purpose.

Farris Planworks is initially operated by Farris Construction, LLC. The design practice has its own identity and a focused purpose: more thought in every square foot.
