01

The starting point

Accommodate family and guests while making useful space on a narrow property.

02

The challenge

Close neighboring homes and a restricted building envelope called for careful placement of rooms and windows.

03

The design decision

Balance shared gathering space with separate suites, and bring in light while limiting direct views between neighbors.

04

Why it matters

A plan that balances connection and privacy within the constraints of the site.
